Center/Stage is the home of the Evergreen Chorale. Originally built in 1924 as a meeting house for the Episcopal Evergreen Conference Center, it is now a 160 seat theater that is used by a variety of cultural organizations. The Chorale acquired the facility from the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado in 1990.
Since acquiring the facility, the Chorale has begun the process of building improvement and renovation. Many of the projects have already been completed, including the main lobby, bathrooms, green room, and auditorium seating. Since the completion of the Lobby expansion and the addition of the Evergreen Rotary Gallery, Center/Stage is truly now where a culmination of Arts come alive! The Chorale's desire is that Center/Stage be a place used by many performing arts organizations, in addition to the Evergreen Chorale. Center/Stage is also the performing home of the Evergreen Players and the Evergreen Children's Chorale.
